In this photo we are standing in the original kitchen. The wall came out where the refrigerator is to double the size of the area. The room was not big enough for an island so we used a peninsula island with the mahogany and black granite tops. We used a microwave convection oven. June wanted stainless appliances and hardware to match the time period of 1930's but add a more transitional style. As with most projects, we created the fewest steps necessary to prepare food. |
